This advanced dermal filler shadow day is designed for experienced injectors looking to deepen their understanding of facial anatomy, facial balancing, and full-face rejuvenation using dermal fillers.
This immersive training focuses on the artistry, anatomy, and advanced injection strategies required to safely and effectively treat the upper, mid, and lower face, with an emphasis on achieving natural, balanced, and patient-specific outcomes.
Course Overview
The day begins with an in-depth consult session covering facial aging patterns, filler characteristics, and advanced treatment concepts for the temples, midface, jawline, chin, and under-eye area.
While on-label use is reviewed, the lecture emphasizes:
Structural aging of the face
Facial proportions and balance
Treatment planning for facial shaping and contour
Wrinkle and fold softening
Global facial rejuvenation strategies
Strong emphasis is placed on patient safety, including:
Relevant facial anatomy and vascular considerations
High-risk areas and complication prevention
Recognition and management of adverse events
Additional topics include:
Advanced consultation techniques
Patient selection and exclusion criteria

Layering and depth considerations

Shadow Experience
With a low student-to-instructor ratio the session provides a highly personalized, mentorship-style learning experience.

Observe in live model consultations
Observe full facial assessments and treatment planning
Review medical history, consent, and skin analysis
Discuss patient goals and desired outcomes

Shadow Day - $1,999
Class size is limited to 4–6 attendees, plus instructor and director, to ensure safety, individualized instruction, and a high-quality learning environment.

Time: 10am-3:30pm
Important Information:
Participants must have a valid RN, NP, PA, MD, or DDS license to attend.
Please wear scrubs and comfortable shoes to the course.
Products and models are included in the training.
Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you need to cancel, please provide at least 4 weeks’ notice so we have time to fill your spot. Cancellations made 4 weeks before the training will receive a full refund. For cancellations made 2-4 weeks before the training, they will receive a partial refund of 50%.
For cancellations made within the 2-week period prior to the course, no refund will be issued. All sales are final at that time.
Course Transfer: In the event you are unable to attend the course you register for you must request a transfer 4 weeks prior to that course. We will allow ONE course transfer deposit. If that course transfer is canceled or you are unable to attend, the deposit will be forfeited.
Texas State Regulations
Texas Law requires that patients receive a medical evaluation prior to their treatment. The Medical Professional is responsible for the diagnosis, intake, and delegation of the cosmetic procedure.
SCA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course for any reason up to one week prior to the course with a FULL Refund issued to students.
